Sam Hopkins hardly needs any introduction and is one of the most popular waterlily dahlias grown today. Producing elegant 13 cm blooms in a rich, dark red that deepens towards burgundy in certain lights, it has a distinctive sheen to the petals that makes them look almost as if they’ve been lightly waxed. The classic open waterlily form gives it balance and poise, while the depth of colour adds drama and sophistication to both borders and arrangements. Growing to around 120 cm tall, it offers strong stems and reliable productivity throughout the season.
Available as a 2 litre potted tuber.
