R Mona is a striking small flowered decorative dahlia and a new addition to the farm this year. Producing 14 cm blooms with an unusual, slightly sculptural petal arrangement that sets it apart from more traditional forms, it has real character and presence in the border. The layered petals create movement and texture, giving the flower a contemporary feel that makes it especially exciting for cutting. Growing to around 100 cm tall, it offers good stem length and a confident stance, and it is exactly the sort of distinctive variety we are keen to grow more of in the future.
Available as a 2 litre potted tuber.
