Anne Claire is a beautifully nuanced small flowered decorative dahlia in a vintage dark pink softened with subtle hints of apricot, giving it that sought-after antique rose quality. The 13 cm blooms are gently layered and full without feeling heavy, and the colouring shifts delicately in different light, revealing warmer apricot undertones as the flower matures. Growing to around 100 cm tall, it produces strong stems and flowers generously, making it equally valuable in the border and for cutting — especially if you love that romantic, slightly nostalgic palette that works so effortlessly with creams, plums and soft neutrals.
