Come and join me, Rachel, and our visiting florist, Caroline, for a heavenly couple of hours creating your own summer garden tablescape.

We will provide you with a meadow box, the mechanics, and flowers and guide you through the process of creating a show stopping centrepiece for your kitchen or dining table. A truly creative session where you can step outside your world for a couple of hours and immerse yourself in the beauty of British seasonal flowers that will look completely stunning once you have finished your floral installation.

All flowers provided along with some light refreshments. We will be in the flower studio here on the flower farm near Tetbury in the South Cotswolds and the workshop will run from 10:30 - 12:30 on Thursday 8th August. *please note the meadow boxes will be wood rather than brass shown in the photo.

Florist Caroline Hare: Caroline has been at the forefront of floral design for over 50 years and has a wealth of experience covering everything from small intimate weddings to huge floral installations in hotels. Her style is formal yet relaxed and fits perfectly with the flowers grown on the flower farm.

Grower Rachel Golding Barrett: Rachel set up her flower farm in 2022 in response to the  exponential growth in demand for British flowers. She sells wholesale flowers from the farm as well as creating bouquets for local delivery and events.

    • The ground can be uneven and weather unpredictable so please do wear sensible shoes and bring a raincoat if rain is in the forecast.  At the other extreme, there is little shade in the cutting garden so do bring a hat and suncream if it is scorching.
    • If extreme weather is forecast we may take the decision to postpone your booking. In this event, we will offer you an alternative date or offer a full refund. We will endeavour to notify you the day before if this were to happen.

    • Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs on the flower fields – we’ve tried before and it doesn’t work out well.
    • There is a toilet available on site.
    • We are working towards being fully accessible but at the moment we cannot accommodate people who use wheelchairs or children in buggies.

    What to expect

We want you to fill your buckets to brimming with whatever you choose so unlike many cut your owns, we do not have a limit on stem count or variety, or a per stem surplus. However, as a guide a medium bucket will take about 30 stems, a large bucket around 50 stems both of which will provide you with a full bouquet or for the larger bucket, a bouquet and a fat posy.
